During your first visit, Dr. Allen-Jenkins will conduct a clinical interview to get to know you and your family.  This will help to determine the treatment goals, diagnosis, and frequency of treatment. This also gives you an opportunity to get to know Dr. Allen-Jenkins.

For adolescents, the first appointment usually includes the youth as well as the primary caregivers.

After making your initial appointment, you will be sent a secure link to the TherapyNotes portal for you to complete and review all intake paperwork.

Insurance

Accepted Insurance Companies:

• Humana

• Anthem

• United Behavioral Health (Optum)

• Aetna

The client is responsible for contacting the insurance company prior to the first appointment to determine what fees (deductibles, copayments, etc.) the client is responsible for according to the plan. Dr. Allen-Jenkins will bill primary accepted insurance companies as a courtesy. The client is responsible for negotiating with the insurance company or providing full payment if the insurance company does not provide the appropriate payment.
